S.U. Riders "KK" & "J" showed well in Turlock in the CCPA August competition. They took 1st place in the second go round in the Novice Division. And "J" took first place in his JR. Division runs. Congrats to the S.U. Riders.
The CCPA picks up this weekend in Turlock @ the Turlock Horseman's Arena located at 1506 Tegner Road in Turlock Ca. There will also be a sorting competition after the Penning, starting about 6:00pm.
S.U. Riders "E" & "C" are in second and third place in the California Cattle Penning Association Competition. "E" made a 26.7 second run at the March competition, giving him a best run of the day. And "C" turned in a 37.9 second run. Those two runs have them ranked at @ 2nd & 3rd in the Pee Wee Division.
Pee Wee Division S.U. Riders take first and second in their first competition in penning. S.U. Rider "E" turned a 27.32 run to bring in first place with his first Pee Wee run in the CCPA and younger brother "C" pulled a second place with his first competition. Congratulations "E" & "C" great job riding for team S.U. Riders.
S.U. Rider "J" began the California Cattle Penning Association 2016 penning season with a WIN in the JR. Division on January 16th for the first competition of the year. The competition was held @ the Rockin N Arena in Farmington Ca. Congratulations "J" on your first victory of the year.

Spurred Up's first fundraiser was held November 15th, @ Imagine Affairs Lounge in downtown Oakland. And we had a grand time with our supporters, guests, voulunteers, presenters, trainers, entertainment and our S.U.Riders

"J" made his run at barrel racing at the Bill Pickett Invitational Rodeo this year. His run on Saturday was 21.0 seconds and his run on Sunday was a 19.6 seconds . Congratulations "J"
It's the first penning competition for the S.U. Riders, while the other S.U.Riders are finishing their seasons in baseball & basketball. "J" continues his request in Horsemanship by moving up the the JR. Level in the NCCPA. Believe me the step up in competition calls for more skill and teamwork.
"J" makes his last run of the year and puts it all on the line. His time for this run was a 19.4 seconds his best of the year and he places first for the competition of the on the last day in the finals and takes second in the overall competition for the year, Congratulations "J" a job well done.
